For many years now, the OPCom Portable Oil Lab has been part of the ARGO-HYTOS portfolio.

The Axon Conference series continued last week in Wrocław, Poland, and ARGO-HYTOS is proud to be part of it once more.

As part of the conference program, our colleague from ARGO-HYTOS Poland, Maciej Gzela, presented a session about Predictive Oil Management as the Foundation of Hydraulic System Reliability. He talked about how oil condition data can support reliability-driven maintenance strategies and help build a deeper understanding of hydraulic system health.

At our booth, we were presenting selected Fluid Management solutions that help increase machine availability, protect hydraulic systems and support long-term operational reliability.

Since 2021, we have implemented a range of energy efficiency measures at the ARGO-HYTOS site in Kraichtal, Germany, achieving 550,000 kWh of energy savings.
Among the initiatives implemented:

🍃 Optimization of heating and ventilation controls
🍃 Elimination of leaks in the compressed air network
🍃 Use of energy-efficient equipment and technologies

Looking ahead, we continue to identify new opportunities for improvement. Among other initiatives, the planned transition to heat pump technology will help further increase the energy efficiency of our site.

It’s summer, and temperatures are still high. ☀️

Whether on construction sites, in the field, or in municipal operations, machines need to keep performing when conditions get demanding.
High temperatures, heavy loads and continuous operation put additional stress on hydraulic systems and components. That’s where reliable technology makes the difference.

As we showed in our previous posts on filtration quality, not all quality differences are visible at first glance.

One more important example: collapse pressure stability.

A filter element that cannot withstand the required differential pressure may fail prematurely, resulting in:
❌Unfiltered dirt particles entering the system
❌ Damage to sensitive components

This reduces the protection of the hydraulic system which can lead to serious consequences for the entire application.
