A little something very special from our apprentice, Annika 🤍

Annika is carrying on her late grandma Cathy’s tradition of making Icelandic Vinatarta. After Cathy was diagnosed with cancer, Annika spent the last three years learning the recipe alongside her. Now, she’s continuing the tradition in her memory.

Vinarterta is a traditional Icelandic cake shared around Christmas time. It is an 8 inch cake with 7 layers one for everyday of the week. Each layer has a thin sugar cookie, with prune filling, topped with almond flavoured icing, cakes are also available to be un-Iced if requested.

Available for pickup late October through Christmas
