Over the past few days, so many of you have reached out with messages, memories, love, and concern for Anna and family.

We cannot begin to tell you how much that has meant.

Anna’s family has now shared her obituary, and with their information now public, we wanted to share it with the community that knew and loved her too.

Some of Anna’s clients had been in her chair more than 240 times. When you have shared that many haircuts, conversations, laughs, milestones, difficult days, family updates and ordinary moments together, you are no longer simply a client and a barber. A genuine relationship is formed.

We see that relationship, we respect it, and we know many of you are grieving too. We are grieving together.

In Loving Memory of Anna

It is with profound sadness and complete shock that we share the loss of our beloved Anna.

There are moments when words simply do not feel like enough, and this is one of them.

Anna was much more than a barber at The Barbershop Bar. Over the years, she was an important part of our team, our shop, and our Barbershop family. Her support, kindness, loyalty, and presence meant more to us than we could ever fully express.

She gave so much of herself to the people around her.....her coworkers, her clients, and the many people who had the privilege of sitting in her chair and getting to know her.

Right now, we are still trying to process a loss that feels impossible to put into words.

Our hearts are with Anna’s family and loved ones. We extend our deepest love, sympathy, and support to them during this incredibly difficult time.

We will remember Anna for the years she gave to our shop, for the relationships she built, for the support she showed our team, and for the countless memories she leaves behind.

She will always be part of the story our Barbershop, and she will be deeply missed.

We will honour her memory, carry her with us, and always be grateful that she was part of our family.

Victoria is a Lambton College Hairstyling graduate with previous shop experience, and she’s recently relocated to Windsor. She’s joining us as a Barber Apprentice, continuing to build her skills, confidence, and experience behind the chair.

She’s friendly, eager to learn, and has already been spending time in the shop working alongside the team and getting comfortable with our clients and our vibe.

So if you’re due for a cut and want to help support someone new as she grows in the trade, come in, say hello, and give Victoria a chance.
