*𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙖𝙙, 𝙞𝙩 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙖 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚*

Sometimes they can be a whole lot of steps and a whole lot of scary, but sometimes, they can also be a whole lot of fun!

I absolutely love the whole colour theory aspect of hair, and corrections really put that knowledge to use 🎨🧠

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: It can mean a flurry of things TBH, but generally speaking, you’re “correcting” what is on the hair that you don’t want, to be something that you do. Could be from a colour not going how you thought, a removal not removing evenly, etc.

Take these two examples, there wasn’t a lot of lifting and shifting necessary, just a lot of colour theory and specific application to remove what was really warm and orange or red to be more neutral with pops of dimension.
We did a good ole’ base and brighten in both scenarios and ended up somewhere so natural!

𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝟮: Going backwards, photo 9 is the original colour we did, photo 7&8 are what it faded to and our starting point for the shift back to natural. Photo 6 is after the first session and photo 4&5 are after the second session.
