1. Avoid caffeine before your appointment
Caffeine can cause eye fluttering, which makes it harder to apply lashes safely and can lead to irritation if your eyes don’t stay fully closed.

2. Lash shedding is completely normal
Your natural lashes shed as part of their growth cycle, so losing extensions with them is expected.

3. Your aftercare affects your retention
Oil-based makeup, heavy cleansers, and poor lash hygiene can break down the adhesive and cause premature shedding. Cleaning and brushing your lashes regularly helps maintain their look and longevity.

My kids will always come first.
But that does not mean I come last.
There is a difference.
My children are my priority — their safety, their emotional security, their memories, their childhood. That will never be negotiable.
But I refuse to teach my daughters that being a good mom means abandoning yourself.
And I refuse to teach my sons that women are meant to shrink.
Working does not mean I love my kids less.
Building does not mean I’m distracted.
Dreaming does not mean I’m dissatisfied with motherhood.
It means I’m showing them what it looks like to:
• chase goals
• create income
• reinvent yourself
• take care of your health
• rest when needed
• and still show up for bedtime cuddles
Balance doesn’t mean equal time.
It means intentional time.
Some days I’m in CEO mode.
Some days I’m in full chaos-mama mode.
Most days I’m both.
And here’s another hill I’ll die on:
Your kids benefit from watching you build something.
They benefit from seeing you try.
They benefit from watching you keep going.
Motherhood is my heart.
Business is my outlet.
And I don’t have to choose one to honor the other.
