Every product had a huge part creating this look. Skin prep is where the magic starts especially for my client, Jamie. I started with a hydrating mask base then a calming relief cream and then lightly applied a colour-correcting primer on areas that needed it. Jamie already have beautiful features so I really wanted to softly define what she already has. Just a hint of depth on the eyes, warmth on the cheeks and her favourite lip combo that finishes the whole look. This is what I mean when I say makeup should feel like it belongs to you. Every layer is always intentional.

Brides spend so much of their bridal era pouring into everyone else: the guest lists, the family dynamics, making sure everyone’s comfortable. And then they sit in my makeup chair and, maybe for the first time in months, someone’s whole focus is on them. It is not about what they can give but just to be who they are.

That’s a real gift I want to give my brides. I see it more than just providing a service. I curate spaces where they are allowed to settle in comfortably, a safe sanctuary where they can let it all go. Where they can feel held and seen.
