ith dolls, I could pick up a brush and makeup and create significant transformation. Over the years that process evolved into a disciplined and skilled art. I enrolled in a two-year full time program of rigorous training at Ware College (England), and immediately got my feet wet working as a Hair Stylist and managing a Salon. I went on to diversify and deepen my experience with Steiner's aboard the cruise ships, it was here that I developed a love and skill in styling hair, creating glamorous up-dos. This unfolded into many other international career opportunities in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Australia. Returning to Vancouver, I opened my own Hair and Make Up company called Londonfrost. With a range of training and experience under my belt, I finally decided to specialize in doing professional Hair and Make Up for the Bridal Industry and Fashion Photography, Modeling and TV and Print Media industries. Through time and experience over the years, a passion in vintage, retro, pin-up and period work has become a few of my signature looks. The core of my work and passion is about the uncovering of a unique and multifaceted beauty that runs deep in us all. In my field of work, every person has an opportunity to see themselves in a new light. A new look can be the spark that ignites a new feeling, which creates a different experience in every womans world. It is what has fueled my desire to become passionately involved in fundraising events and volunteer work, both in Canada and developing countries such as Rwanda and Mozambique. Regardless if I am working with a model and photographer, a bride on her wedding day or volunteering to make over a woman on the streets of downtown east side, the potential of revealing our own natural beauty is ever present in all of us. When I am asked about what I do, I say it can be best described as an artists interoperations of revealing the true beauty that I see absolutely differently in each person. So, truth be known, there is nothing I would rather do than to meet with you and ultimately have the opportunity to reveal the unique beauty within YOU!
