Many have asked about the “boxes” we use for our soap blocks and salt blocks. These “boxes” are actually papers wrapped around the soaps in origami style. Why did we choose to hand-wrap our soaps? To be frank, when we first started the business, we had very little sales and couldn’t justify ordering boxes in the thousands to keep cost down. We also knew we had a special product here that would benefit from having a unique packaging. After tons of research, we have found this unique way to package our soaps. At first it took a while to wrap one but now I can easily wrap a whole bunch while watching Netflix. The wrapping part was always enjoyable but the printing and trimming were not. Eventually our handmade packaging becomes a part of us. We would be known as the company that hand-make our own plastic-free and recyclable paper packaging from scratch. Even after we have increased our sale volume, we have decided to stick with our original handmade packaging. We have however outsourced the printing and trimming part to a local printer. We firmly believe that our soap block would not be the same if we had used a box. We want to thank our customers for appreciating the love behind our handmade products and packaging. 🥰
