A year ago we took out a loan and put $250k into building BC’s biggest sauna boat. that part honestly felt easy, a risk that we leaned into.

What we didn’t account for was everything after. The delays. The “wait, that doesn’t fit.” The plans changing 5 times in one week. The nights we were like... is this even going to come together.

But here we are, a few months in, and it IS coming together. And the thing we keep coming back to is — we got so caught up picturing the finished boat that we forgot to actually notice all the small stuff happening along the way. Every delay, every fix, every “ok now what” moment was still progress, even when it didn’t feel like the finish line got any closer.

So if today felt like a lot of steps and not a lot of destination — that still counts. The getting there is the part you’re actually living in, might as well notice it.
