What an amazing experience to live a World Cup in my home city, it was surreal ✨

I moved here in 2013 so I missed the World Cup in Brasil, and every tournament since, this is my fourth World Cup living in Canada and it was beautiful!

Celebrating with friends, going out and seeing thousands of football fans, watching every game, laughing, crying (and cursing 🤬)

I will never forget this summer, I wish we were cheering for Brasil today, but we will be here 2030 with the same faith and love for the game 💛💚💙

I’m Bárbara Lima, co-owner of Mon Chéri Salon and Spa and also your natural beauty specialist focusing on the eyes (brows & lashes)

I started in the beauty industry through Makeup in 2018 and have migrated to Eyebrows in 2020 during COVID, a lots has changed and improved since then, I have opened my own business that operated for almost 2 years before opening Mon Chéri with my business partner Talita.

We are about to turn 4 (in August) and have been awarded two times as Best Salon in New Westminster, which makes me SO proud and so so extremely happy!

As a service provider I can say confidently that my techniques have improved over the years and so has my connection with my clients, that goes WAY beyond the beauty services I offer.

I have made friends, I have talked about life, I have learned and I have shared my knowledge, that’s the magic behind it all 🪄

Sometimes (lots of times) being a business owner and have the responsibility of an entire team and a service provider focused entirely on providing the BEST experience for my clients can be exhausting, I’m not going to lie, specially because I’m “all in” in everything I put myself into, however, it’s very rewarding to see how far you can go when you have dedication and resilience and above all respect by everyone around you.

I’m growing as a leader and hope to continue touching lives through my art while developing my business and my team, I have great plans for the present and the future and I can’t wait to continue sharing it all with you.
