Have you tried fermented oats?
Fermenting your oats before cooking gives them a deliciously tangy flavor and may make them easier to digest and improve the availability of some minerals.
How to do it:
Add 50-60 g rolled oats per person to a jar.
Cover generously with water.
Add 1 tbsp. of an active starter-yogurt, kefir, sourdough starter, or buttermilk.
Stir, cover, and leave at room temperature overnight.
In the morning, cook with a little extra water or milk and enjoy!
Top with fruit, nuts, seeds, cinnamon, or a drizzle of honey.
A simple way to make your morning oats a little more special.

You need just a few simple ingredients: fresh tomatoes, garlic, a few spices, and a little bit of time.
Fall is the perfect time to make it. Local tomatoes are often available at a reasonable price, so you can make a big batch and treat your family to a delicious pasta dinner with freshly made sauce.
Simple ingredients. Homemade goodness. And so satisfying!
Sometimes the best meals really are the simplest.

Apple picking is one of our favorite fall activities as a family.
There’s something special about spending time outside, picking apples, bringing them home, and enjoying the taste of the season.
Baked apples are one of my favorite fall treats. Fast, easy, and delicious - no complicated recipe needed.
My small conventional oven can fit 12-14 apples, which is just enough to keep our family happy for a couple of days.
I know you can stuff apples with walnuts and honey, or oats, butter, and cinnamon. And those are delicious too!
But in real life, I often find the simpler, the better.
Just wash the apples, place them in a baking dish, and bake until they are soft and tender. I even learned to use the toaster function on my oven, and the apples are ready in no time.
No added sugar, no complicated ingredients - just beautiful seasonal apples, naturally sweet and full of flavor.
Sometimes healthy eating really can be this simple: use what is in season, keep it simple, and enjoy real food.

Almost the end of the season for someone who has a garden.
Yes, it’s September, but I can still bring a basket of fresh vegetables from my garden.
And honestly, the taste is unbeatable!
Whatever nature brings at this time of year, I enjoy it.
A few yellow beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh mint for tea, and parsley for garnish.
Simple, fresh, seasonal - and absolutely delicious!
There’s something so special about eating food you grew yourself.

Fall is the perfect time to make ferments!
As the seasons change, it’s a wonderful time to add fermented foods to your diet.
Homemade ferments like sauerkraut are a delicious way to enjoy beneficial bacteria while also getting fiber, digestive enzymes, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that support a healthy gut.
And you don’t need to eat them by the bowlful! A few forkfuls can go a long way, especially when you’re just getting started.
Making your own ferments can also be simple, affordable, and a great way to save on store-bought products.
