The tour of 573 Danforth continues!

This is the wall you will see behind our front desk.

I chose a pale baby blue canvas wall to host our gorgeous, understated wispy botanical mural. This was painted free-hand by one of my kids (!) and I have been so proud to brag about that to our inquiring patients. 💚

I always said I wished I could hire local artists to create for our space, so this piece was a great first opportunity for that.

Designing this new clinic home has been such a joy for me. I hope it feels welcoming, cozy, and whimsical when you step through the door.

In our hallway you can spot a selection of essential oils.

An important note: On our health history form we ask if our patients are scent-sensitive and avoid using oils on days when they visit us. We DEFINITELY want everyone to have a safe and comfortable treatment experience!

For those that love a little aromatherapy boost, we have lots of options! We can drop these into the diffusers, or apply them to hot towels and heating pads.

Peppermint is a classic to freshen up the air and lift the spirits.

Woody oils smell so grounding and natural.

Cinnamon is a nostalgic comfort on a chilly day.

What would you pick?

A tip: you can always add a note in your booking so we can start the diffuser before you arrive. 😌

Our door has a ramp to help with entrances, and an accessible door opener, too!

Today Lainie is working her friendly flow and focused specific massage therapy in Room 3.

I opted for multiple shades of green throughout the clinic, with our signature “cozy cave” vibe now taking on a foresty feel.

Today we posted the sign on the door for the last time!

We are busy packing and moving and setting up our new space and can’t wait to see you at 573 Danforth on September 1.

So much love to everyone who walked through this door, and to the incredible team of practitioners who are making the move with me a few blocks west.

1080 Dovercourt was our foundation, but it's time to really make our sweet home sweeter.

There will be no changes to appointments or operations during this transition period.

Our new space will be move-in ready sometime between July and end of Aug, and there will be lots of exciting updates to share along the way.

The new digs will be in the Dupont and Dufferin area, and the space is stunning ✨️

Thank you for helping us run a tight ship, making sure our people have full schedules and get paid. While also making sure you don't have to pay out of pocket for missed time!

Lots of folks are using up health benefits that expire at the end of the year, so we see an influx of new patients. Appointments get booked further in advance, and therefore, we experience a dramatic increase in cancelations, no-shows, and reschedules.

As a small biz with no reception, that's fully a practitioner-run company, we need you all to be extra mindful and be proactive in helping us with schedule-tetris to avoid income loss for our amazing staff, and disappointment for our wait list of patients who also need the care.

We enforce a strict cancelation policy, and insurance companies don't cover sessions that you didn't actually attend.

If you can't make it, or if you're sick, send a friend, family member, or colleague from an asymptomatic household. If the spot is filled by another patient, we don't bill the missed fee, hence the need for extra notice this time of year!
