After 10+ years in body contouring, you start noticing things VERY quickly. 👀
And surprisingly, it’s rarely about which machine someone is using.
It’s the things happening around the treatment that tell me the most.💯
The questions being asked.
The expectations being set.
The reasoning behind a treatment decision.
And whether someone genuinely understands WHY they’re doing what they’re doing.
I entered this industry when non-invasive body contouring looked very different from what it does today. I’ve watched technologies come and go, techniques get renamed, trends explode on social media and practitioners become overwhelmed trying to keep up with all of it.❤️🩹
But experience has taught me something important:
You don’t become a better practitioner by knowing every trend.
You become better by knowing what deserves your attention and having enough understanding to question what doesn’t make sense.✨
That’s why I’ve always believed education should teach you how to THINK, not simply what steps to follow.
Swipe through for a few things 10+ years in this industry have taught me to notice. 💪
And if you want to learn body contouring with the science, reasoning and real-world education behind it, DM “ACADEMY” and we’ll help you find the right training pathway for you. ✨
Being lean doesn’t automatically make someone an easy body contouring client. 👀
In fact, it can make treatment planning even MORE strategic.
When someone already has a lower overall body fat percentage, that small area they want to change isn’t always as simple as “there’s stubborn fat here, so let’s reduce it.”
Sometimes what the client sees and what you identify during assessment are two very different things.
And this is where practitioners need to resist the temptation to simply treat the area the client points to.
After more than a decade working with different bodies and tissue responses, one thing experience teaches you is that MORE treatment doesn’t automatically create a better result.
Sometimes less really is more.
The goal should never be to reduce as much as possible.
It should be to understand what’s creating the concern and make intentional treatment decisions that complement the client’s existing shape.
I’m breaking down exactly what I look for when approaching fat reduction on a lean client in this video. 👆
Practitioners, have you ever found lean clients more challenging to treatment plan for? Let me know below. 👇

The clients who challenge you the most might actually be the ones you NEED the most.💯
Not the straightforward client where everything goes exactly according to plan.😅
I’m talking about the one who makes you stop and think:
“Okay… why is THIS happening?”
There comes a point in your career where simply knowing the treatment steps isn’t enough anymore.
Real clients start presenting you with situations your original training never prepared you for and suddenly, you need more than a protocol to decide what happens next.✨
After more than a decade in this industry and mentoring thousands of practitioners, I’ve seen this become a major turning point in a practitioner’s development.
Because complexity forces you to think differently.💪
And sometimes, the client you find the most challenging ends up teaching you the most.
Already certified and ready to deepen the way you approach more complex cases?
DM “REFRESHER”. ✨
Consider this your reminder to keep my name somewhere in the back of your mind. 😂👀
Because learning body contouring isn’t just learning which button to press, which setting to use or which protocol to follow.
It’s understanding WHY you’re doing it.🤌
Why this treatment for this client.
Why this modality.
Why these parameters.
Why this treatment plan.
And when you need to change your approach.
After more than a decade in this industry and mentoring thousands of practitioners, I’ve seen the difference deeper education can make, not only in treatment results, but in the confidence practitioners have when making decisions.💯
That’s exactly what we teach inside Bodied Physique Academy.
We don’t want you memorising treatments.
We want you understanding them.👏
So when you’re ready to learn body contouring with science, strategy and real-world application behind it…
Think of me. 😉✨
