From baby locs to this glow-up?? Yeah, we did that 👏🏾 (okay YOU did that… I just guided the magic 😌). The growth, the fullness, the confidence ; it’s giving everything it’s supposed to give!
Thank you for trusting me with your crown and sticking through every stage ; the frizz, the budding, ALL of it 😂🤍

Starting is exciting, but the banding and washing stage is one of the most important parts of your early loc journey. It directly affects how neat, healthy, and uniform your locs will become over time.
Banding and washing are key for new microlocs:
• Banding: Prevents unraveling, keeps parts neat, and helps locs form evenly.
• Washing: Keeps your scalp clean and actually helps the locs start locking.
Quick tips:
• Band loc in buns before washing
• Use gentle, residue-free shampoo
• Focus on scalp, not scrubbing locs
• Dry completely after washing
How often? Every 1–2 weeks depending on your lifestyle (gym, product use etc…)
