I’m on a Voyage… ✨
Can mean many things.
For me, it started with the botanical fragrance. Voyage is about movement, discovery and not being afraid to step into something new.
That inspired me to create a song.
With my eyes closed and letting my imagination take hold, I saw glimpses of the world I want to explore and experiences I still want to have. To me, Voyage is about freedom, adventure, happiness, love and embracing the journey — even without knowing where it will lead.

Hello! 👋 It’s been a while! I’ve been busy this summer creating and experimenting — including testing my new syndet shampoo and conditioner bars.
A syndet bar is basically shampoo in solid form, formulated specifically for hair.
There I was, all proud of V1 and then…
POW 💥
My hair wasn’t liking it AT ALL. It felt dry and I noticed much more hair than usual coming out while washing and detangling.
Well… you guessed it. That wasn’t what I had planned.
Especially being a bit more mature — I’ll call myself 35. 🤭😂
And every year after this? Same answer.
Every strand is precious, you know! 😂
Then came another problem.
No liquid shampoo.
Nada.
Actually… NADAH!! 😂
Have you seen that Friends episode where Monica’s hair gets bigger…and bigger…and BIGGER from the humidity?
Yep. That can be my hair. 😂
So what did I do?
I grabbed my Rose Face Soap. 😳
Why? Because I made it and I know exactly what’s in it.
Sorry — as a creator I have to keep a few secrets. 😉 No recipe disclosure here!
I washed, rinsed well, followed with my diluted apple-cider-vinegar rinse, rinsed again, then sprayed a few pumps of my homemade leave-in conditioner and used a wide-tooth comb.
And…
Voilà.
No tangles. Easy to comb. Soft hair. Bounce.
And maybe five hairs came out during the whole process.
Five!
Remember… every strand is precious. 😂
The next day? My hair still felt good.
On paper, the syndet bar should have been the obvious choice.
Apparently…
my hair didn’t get the memo. 😂
Am I giving up on my syndet bars?
Absolutely not. That was V1.
Back to the formulation table for V2 — and now it has a challenge:

Just to be clear, I’m sharing my experience with my hair and a soap I formulated myself. I’m not suggesting everyone start washing their hair with whatever soap they have at home.

The layers in this Lemongrass soap remind me that change doesn’t always happen all at once. Sometimes it happens quietly, one step at a time.

One of my favourite bars is finally ready.
Orange Lavender combines gentle exfoliation with a bright botanical scent and a creamy, luxurious lather. Naturally scented with orange, lavender, and complementary botanicals, each bar is handcrafted in small batches and topped with a dried orange slice.
This batch came with a few surprises along the way, but the result was worth it.
