Meet Dana! TQB’s newest Junior Barber!

Dana (she/they) is a junior barber who’s been barbering for about a year now. She loves talking to people (but will respect your need for a silent cut if you want it), doing things creatively and helping connect people with resources or other people in her network whenever possible. Coming from the agency and production world, she understands the importance of a network, and thinks that barbers are the original “fixers”. She’s excited to help clients get the cut that feels right for them and their identity. She loves nature, birds and her puppy, Spinelli.

Born in Alberta to Pakistani parents, Sena is a self-taught junior barber and a recent MSW graduate from U of T.

Her work is grounded in gender-affirming care, whether that’s through a healing haircut or her clinical practice.
