πŸ’†β€β™€οΈ Why Do You Sometimes Feel Sore After a Massage β€” Yet Lighter and More Relaxed?

After a massage, especially Thai massage, stretching, or work on tight muscles, some people may experience mild soreness or tenderness. This can happen because the muscles and surrounding soft tissues have been compressed, stretched, and moved more than usual.

After the body has had time to rest, mild soreness will often gradually settle, and many people may notice:

✨ Muscles feel more relaxed
✨ Less tension in the neck, shoulders, and back
✨ Easier movement and stretching
✨ A lighter, more comfortable feeling in the body
✨ Greater overall relaxation

A good massage does not have to be extremely strong or painful to be effective. Pressure should always be adjusted to the individual’s comfort level, muscle condition, and personal needs.

After your massage, give your body time to recover, stay comfortably hydrated, and avoid very strenuous activity if you are feeling tender.

If you experience severe pain, significant swelling or bruising, numbness, weakness, or symptoms that do not improve, it is best to stop massage in that area and seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

🌿 Good massage is about working with the body β€” not forcing it.

Feeling honored and grateful to be part of the RBC Canadian Open at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley in Caledon.

We’ve received such a warm and positive response to Thai massage, and it has been a wonderful opportunity to introduce and promote Thai massage as a meaningful profession while helping more people understand its benefits and traditions.

Proud to share the wisdom of Thai healing, relaxation, and wellness with more people, and grateful for every opportunity to help Thai massage grow and be recognized internationally. πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡βœ¨
