✨ It’s all in the details. ✨ Every set I create is fully customized — from lash mapping and styling to working with your exact eye shape and natural lash pattern. I’m extremely particular about isolating and filling every lash because that’s what creates seamless blends, better retention, and sets that grow out beautifully… not patchy or sparse. No two clients are the same, so no two sets should be either. Your eyes, your vibe, your lifestyle — all considered before a single lash goes on. This is what custom artistry looks like 🤍 www.islandlashdesign.com #IslandLashDesign #CustomLashSets #LashMapping #TorbayNL #StJohnsNL LashArtistNL AttentionToDetail LashGoals NaturalLashesFirst

Are we bringing back mega volume… 👀🖤 This set is a throwback from years ago—done by me—and lately I’ve been getting a lot of requests for mega volume again. Super dark, fluffy, dramatic… the kind of lashes that make a statement without saying a word. Trends always circle back, and honestly? I’m not mad about this one. Is mega volume making a comeback… or did it never really leave? Tell me what you’re loving lately ⬇️ #MegaVolumeLashes #VolumeLashes #LashTrends #LashArtistLife #IslandLashDesign LashThrowback FullVolume LashInspo NLBusiness TorbayNL

✨ UV-LED Lash Extensions ✨ If you’ve had allergies or sensitivities with lash extensions in the past, this may be a better option for you. Studies and industry data show that around 80% of clients who previously experienced sensitivities or reactions with traditional lash adhesive did not experience them with UV-LED technology. This is because the adhesive is cured instantly with UV-LED light, meaning significantly less exposure to fumes — one of the most common triggers for irritation. 💡 Why clients love UV-LED lashes: • Instant curing = reduced fumes • Improved retention • Great option for sensitive eyes • No long drying time ✨ Patch tests are available A patch test is a short appointment where a small amount of adhesive and a few lashes are applied to test for any reaction before committing to a full set. This is recommended if you’ve had sensitivities in the past or just want peace of mind. 📅 Book online: www.islandlashdesign.com Same custom sets. Same attention to detail. Just newer technology 🤍 - Kristie

Why UV Lashes? Let’s compare 🤍 Traditional lash extensions rely on air-drying adhesive. The bond forms as the glue cures naturally over time, which can be affected by humidity, temperature, and even how watery someone’s eyes are during the appointment. UV lash extensions work differently. They use a light-cured adhesive that sets instantly under a UV lamp — giving a controlled, fully cured bond right away. Traditional lashes: • Adhesive cures slowly in the air • Retention can be impacted by environment • Strong fumes during application for some clients • Requires extra care during the curing period UV lashes: • Adhesive cures instantly with UV light • More consistent retention • Reduced fumes during application • No waiting for glue to dry • Can be a great option for clients who’ve experienced sensitivity in the past The result? A cleaner bond, better control during application, and lashes that are ready immediately. Same custom sets. Same attention to detail. Just upgraded tools and technology — because I always want the best for my clients. UV lash services launching soon ✨ — Kristie
