And this photo pretty much sums up how HAPPY I am to have an ENTIRE long weekend off for the first time since my heart surgery back in March! 🥹🙌

As much as I absolutely LOVE what I do, I’m so excited to slow down, recharge, and enjoy some much-needed time with my family.

I’m looking for new, unopened makeup products, samples or unused testers to help support an upcoming makeup workshop with Dress for Success Central Alberta. on October 21, 2026!

This workshop is all about helping women build confidence and learn a professional makeup look as they prepare to enter or return to the professional workforce. 🤍

I’m hoping to collect enough products for 10 women so they can learn with products during the workshop and have some essentials to take with them afterward.

If you’re a beauty brand, local business, makeup artist or anyone with new products/samples you’d love to donate, I would be incredibly grateful!

Last night, something incredible happened. I was nominated, became a finalist for the Sylvan Lake Chamber Awards of Excellence… and then I WON!!! 😭😭 Sylvan Lake Chamber

I was up against some truly amazing businesses, so this still doesn’t even feel real.

It’s crazy how life works. Coming from Calgary, I started Chlo Artistry as a bit of a test to see if I could build a successful makeup business here in Central Alberta. I never imagined what it would become.

What started at my kitchen counter has grown into a career I truly feel is my calling. I get to help women feel confident and comfortable in their own skin, while also being the mom I always wanted to be. I can take my daughter to and from school, be there for the little moments and still do something I absolutely love. 🤍

To everyone who nominated me, trusted me, referred me, sat in my chair or simply believed in me, thank you. You are the reason I get to do what I love.

And to my family, thank you for supporting me through all the early mornings, weekends away and everything that comes with building this little dream of mine. To my sister and brother in law, thank you for being there last night to support me and celebrate such a special moment with me. 🥹

Winning Home Business of the Year in the community where I’m raising my family and building our life means more than I can put into words.

Three years ago today, I said goodbye to my beautiful mom.

She lived with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy for almost two decades. Watching the strongest woman I have ever known slowly be taken from us by this disease was the hardest thing I have ever had to watch. And even though she had been sick for so long, nothing could have prepared me for actually losing her. Losing your mom truly feels like losing a piece of your soul.

She was my inspiration, my mom, and also a nurse. Going through my own surgery this past year, I needed her more than ever. I just wanted her there to tell me everything was going to be okay.

I know she wouldn’t want me to spend today crying. She would want me to celebrate her and keep living my life. But there will always be grief in my heart for everything we could have had if she hadn’t left us so soon.

I wish she could see how much Chloe has grown, how much my little business has grown, and the life I’ve built here in Sylvan Lake. I truly think she would be so proud.

I loved you with my whole heart then, I love you just as much today, and I will until the day I die.

I miss you, Mom. Forever and always my mommy you’ll be🤍
