Her mids and ends were already at the perfect level, so this appointment was all about protecting her existing blonde and focusing the lightener only on her natural level 3 regrowth.
Her hair is silky-straight and extremely dense, which means clean sectioning, full saturation and a clean application are everything. I started in the front, finished in the back and toned for 25 minutes starting her application at the root to create that soft shadowed effect fading into her brighter lengths.
I always finish colour/lightening services straight so both my client and I can see the true tone, blend and evenness. There’s nowhere for the colour to hide 👀✨

I started in the front, applying lightener to the new growth while leaving approximately ½ inch away from the scalp. Once both front sections were complete, I returned to apply lightener to the scalp area before working from the crown down to the nape.
Because the front was ready first, I rinsed it while the back continued processing. Once everything lifted evenly, I gently detangled, applied a customized toner with Olaplex and finished with a strengthening treatment.
The result: clean, even platinum with beautiful condition, minimal shedding and hair that still felt amazing. 🤍
