Being booked and busy is one thing. Having a full schedule with regular clients who keep choosing to come back and receive from me really feels like the greatest gift.

Thank you for your trust in me, whether it’s on the massage table or out in the pasture with my horse partners. Your willingness to let go, take care of yourself, and allow me to hold space for you is something I never take for granted.

I’m truly grateful for each and every one of you. More than you know. ♥️

Happy Thanksgiving!

Saturday’s session was Horse Medicine, followed by an Intuitive Massage.

My client didn’t speak English, and I found myself digging up French I hadn’t spoken in probably 20 years. I was born in Quebec, but grew up speaking English, since my mother only spoke English. In school we learned Parisian French, because my father didn’t want to confuse me by also speaking Québécois French, which is known to be quite different, he didn’t speak to me in French at all! And the truth about any language is, unless you’re immersed in it, staying fluent is a challenge. Thankfully, the horses bridged the gap beautifully.

Honestly, going in, I was nervous about that. How do I hold space for someone when I can’t even find the right words?

Turns out I didn’t need the right words.I stumbled, but together we found a way to communicate what mattered.

The horses didn’t care that we didn’t share a language. What resonated most is that what gets communicated in the herd is felt, not spoken.

When I do intuitive massage and put my hands on a client, I don’t explain what I’m doing. I usually joke that I don’t even know what I do or how I do it!

Truth is, being present and just feeling it is what the experience calls for.

There was a quiet understanding between us that had nothing to do with language. It made the whole session feel deeper than usual, somehow.

I’m grateful for every single session I get to be part of, but this one is staying with me. The horses held both of us, her and me.

Sometimes you don’t need the right words. You just need to feel, and the horses showed that to us both.

Reflecting on it afterward, I was proud of myself for jumping in with enough confidence to make it all feel exactly as it should have.

Merci d’être venue, d’avoir été aussi ouverte et d’avoir vécu cette expérience de médecine par les chevaux et de massage intuitif.

Having two social media pages separated no longer made sense. I love integrating both modalities to create a truly unique, holistic experience. I want this page to give you a better idea of who I am, what I do, and how I can help you regulate your nervous system, reconnect with yourself, and feel better as a whole.

Treestone Massage Therapy and Wellness and Hoofstone Acres are still my business names, officially, there just won’t be pages under either name anymore. My new website is under my own name, so it made sense to bring my social media along with it.

Welcome to Janet Langevin | Hand ♥️ Herd

If you’re following just Hoofstone Acres, come find me Janet Langevin | Hand ♥️ Herd from now on. Everything lives in one place now: intuitive massage, horse medicine, and me!

Finishing touches for my second location are officially coming together!

I am so excited to be offering Intuitive Massage Therapy from my cozy treatment room at home on Thursdays and every second Friday, starting in September.

A new chapter is officially taking shape.

07/27/2026

Read about all the exciting changes coming in September for Treestone Massage Therapy and Hoofstone Acres.

My Stony Plain location is staying right where it is, though you’ll see new signage for Kare Collective Wellness. I will be renting a room inside the new clinic.

Sixty minute massages are also coming off the schedule in September, so I can make the most of the time we spend together.

At Hoofstone Acres, intuitive massage is now available in my home treatment room, on its own or paired with a horse medicine session for something deeper.

New hours for both are listed on the poster.

Booking link in bio or reach out directly.

If you know me, you know I love change. I’m pretty sure I was a gypsy in a past life!

Well… the universe has spoken again, and the horses have been pretty loud about it too.

My love for massage isn’t going anywhere, but it’s time to stop squeezing my herd healing work into the gaps and finally give it the space it has been calling for.

Over the past year, I’ve witnessed some of the most powerful shifts in people through the medicine of the horses. I can’t keep that tucked into the corners of my schedule anymore.

This work is my calling. And I can’t think of a better way to honour it than by opening the door for more people to experience something that so many of us deeply need.

So with that said, I’m excited to share that as of September 1st, Kyla is taking over the clinic and making it truly her own.

New name, new look, same incredible care you know and love.

From the moment I met Kyla, I knew she was something special. Her passion for massage, the genuine care she holds for every single client, and the natural gift she brings to her work is something you simply cannot teach. Watching her grow has been a great privilege and I could not be more proud to hand over the reins to her.

You haven’t lost me in Stony Plain.  I’ll still be there a few days a week, splitting my time between the clinic and my cozy home treatment space.

Treestone Massage Therapy and Wellness remains my business and I will continue operating under that name, so nothing really changes for my clients.

What is new is a second location where you can book massage on its own, or if you are feeling called, experience the powerful medicine of the horses, or combine the two for something truly unique.

My booking site stays the same, just check both locations starting in July to see what fits best for you.  New website coming soon!

I’ll be sharing updates over the coming weeks, so stay tuned.

Please give Kyla’s new business a follow:

Referrals honestly mean so much to me.

When you send your friends and family my way, it’s the best compliment I could receive, something I truly appreciate and don’t take lightly.

To my cheerleaders, thank you from the bottom of my heart 🤍

Finding a space that truly nurtures the soul can be hard, but when you do, the possibilities are endless and growth is abundant.

This plant was just new 18 months ago, look how it has grown in the right environment.

Our healing unfolds most fully in a space of safety and presence, with someone who recognizes and nurtures the wholeness of the experience.

With the right guidance, we can release what no longer serves us.

We can allow the old to fall away, making space for the new to emerge and grow strong.

Our body, mind, and spirit can become balanced and resilient.

Real transformation is possible and can be this beautiful!

One of the most special parts of my work as a massage therapist is supporting children. Our littles feel stress too, and massage helps them feel safe, calm, and connected to their bodies.

Consent is always the foundation. I explain what I’ll do, ask permission, and remind them they can say no or stop at any time. It’s all about teaching positive touch and respecting their boundaries.

Seeing them excited to come back warms my heart because it means they felt safe during the session. Many of my littles now ask to be booked in without a reminder, whether things feel overwhelming or they just want a cozy massage.

Massage can help kids with stress, sleep, body awareness, and emotional regulation.

A big thank you to the parents who bring their children in and trust me to care for them. It’s truly a privilege to support their health, confidence, and well-being.

Little bodies deserve care too ♥️
