When I told my mom, I was "killing it" in the festival braids circuit, she took a second to meet my high five.

Maybe, it's because she didn't know what a 'festival braid' was.

Or maybe, she remembered the cafeteria-chair- tossing-tantrum of 1994.

My Brownie Leader(aka Mom) used twizzlers to teach us to braid, and once complete, we ate our candy.

I didn't do well.
And I *REALLY* liked candy.

I expected a free pass.
And when I didnt get it?

I lost it SO bad, that it's one of my core memories.

Bubble Braids Followup:

Ive been in a mosh pit, and bopped at a concert. Ive been in the hot tub twice and the shower, THRICE!

I had an excellent "date night" ;)

And 2 5km runs.

All Ive done is tie this up at night and smooth my bangs ♡
