I’ll be honest… I just started experiencing postpartum hair loss myself, and even as a hairstylist, seeing handfuls of hair coming out was a little shocking.

It’s one of those things no one really talks about until you’re standing in the shower wondering where all your hair went.

The good news? For most moms, it’s a completely normal part of postpartum recovery. While we can’t stop the hormonal shedding, we can support healthy hair, reduce breakage, and create the best environment for new growth.

That’s actually why I wanted to make this post—to share what I’ve learned both as a hairstylist and now as a postpartum mom who’s experiencing it firsthand.
