over 6509 children who had their lives taken from them by racism and greed, please take today to remember all the families and people effected by these deaths, trauma is real and is represented lots in our communities.
for Indigenous peoples in Canada, intergenerational trauma is rooted in imposed social and legal injustices in the form of racist, colonial and genocidal policies such as the Reservation System and the Residential School System.
Today we stand strong with hope and fight for those who couldn’t, if you are spiritual smudge or cleanse for these souls, give them peace.
There should never be graveyards at schools.
