Your color will be at its most vibrant during the first few days, then it will gradually soften and fade as your skin naturally renews. Around days 11–14, you may notice only a little color remaining. Once your tan has fully faded, it’s time to gently exfoliate, prep your skin, and get ready for your next spray tan.

Proper aftercare can make all the difference in helping your tan fade evenly and beautifully.

At Naked Spray Tan Studio, the solution I use is designed to work with your skin’s natural melanin and create a natural-looking glow. Your rinse time is customized based on the depth of color you want, so you’re not getting a one-size-fits-all result.

The right rinse time makes all the difference. Follow your instructions, rinse when recommended, and let your glow develop naturally.

Using retinol? Here are a few simple tips to help your spray tan last longer and fade more evenly:

• Avoid applying retinol right before your spray tan appointment.
• Arrive with clean skin and avoid retinol, exfoliating acids, and other active skincare products beforehand.
• Once your tan has developed, remember that retinol may make treated areas fade faster.
• Never stop a prescribed retinoid without speaking with your healthcare professional.
