Stronger isn't always better
When it comes to corrective skin treatments, it's easy to focus on everything we want to fix. Congestion, pigmentation, texture… trust me, I get excited about the possibilities too!
But good skin therapy isn't about throwing everything at your skin in one appointment.
It's about paying attention, communicating throughout your treatment, knowing when to push a little further and, just as importantly, knowing when to pull back.
Sometimes the best results come from a more gradual approach, with time for your skin to recover in between.
Because my goal isn't to see how much your skin can handle. It's to figure out what your skin actually needs.

Sometimes what you see in the mirror isn’t really the whole problem...
Pigmentation. Texture. Fine lines. Breakouts. Dullness.
These are the things we notice—but good skin correction asks a better question: why is the skin behaving this way in the first place?
That’s where treatment becomes more than chasing a spot, a line or a breakout. We look at cell turnover, inflammation, barrier health, pigment activity, collagen—and how all of those pieces are working together.
Because the goal isn’t perfect skin.
It’s healthier, stronger, better-functioning skin.
And that’s what we’re actually correcting.

So… what exactly is The Double Peel?
First of all, despite the name, it is not nearly as intimidating as it sounds. 😂
There are a lot of peels I could have chosen to work with at Maison A,
but I chose The Double Peel by Mr. LuLu very intentionally.
I love that it gives me options.
I can work progressively, customize what I’m doing to the skin in front of me, and get meaningful corrective work without subscribing to the idea that a treatment has to be aggressive to be effective.
Because that has never been how I want to work with skin.
Corrective doesn’t have to mean aggressive.
