Mission Ridge Herefords

It has been a very busy wet spring. Despite being behind due to wet conditions, we have been going hard in the field and breeding cows. Today we had the privilege of working with Keith Immeker of Swan Valley Vet Clinic implanting embryos. Thank you Keith and Megan for coming to our farm and braving our muddy roads. 🤣

It’s been over a week since our bull sale and we would like to acknowledge and give thanks to everyone who attended and helped out with our sale! We always like receiving our photos from our photographer Olivia before writing this up.

First and foremost thank you to the Weinbender family for hosting, as well as all of our friends and family who lent a hand helping us put the sale on. It takes a lot of extra hands and we appreciate you!

Thank you to everyone who came through the bull pen prior to the sale and to those who joined us on Saturday in person or online. A special thank you to our buyers who chose to use Mission Ridge bulls in their program this year!

Thank you to everyone who donated and supported or fundraiser auction for Hope’s Home again this year. The sale was a success and we are pleased to have raised $4500 on behalf of Grace. The funds raised will be put towards construction of a patio and deck space to provide an outdoor space for Grace & other Hope’s Home kids to get some sunshine and fresh air.

Grace’s Blanket Auction has been a huge success in years past and it is back again for a 4th year.

We have a quilt generously donated by Prairie Hugs (The Frankl family), wildrags, hand burned hat & handmade fashion jewelry by S7 Wildrags & Olivia Tomcala & boots donated by BS Boots that will be auctioned off today at the beginning of the sale.

All proceeds will go to Hope’s Home, Regina where Grace lives and receives excellent care and support.

Sale order and supplement sheets are ready for tomorrow’s sale. Sale starts at 2:00 pm @ Sliding Hills Charolais near Canora SK! Please join us for lunch served at noon.

If you are unable to attend please reach out to us if you have any questions! We are thankful to have DLMS join us again this year!

James took a break from a busy afternoon of preparations to model our buyers gift. We look forward to visiting with everyone!
