The self serve porch shop is open from 8am to 8pm. It is stocked with clay earrings, bookmarks, beeswax wraps, bracelets and CAKE POPS! Flavours of the week are Funfetti, cosmic brownie, cookies and cream and bounty coconut.

📚 MY FELLOW BOOK LOVERS 📚

A new clay item that I’ve really been loving to create are bookmarks. I didn’t have any intention in making and selling them but when I made a small batch for the girls in my books club, I fell in love with them, and so they will be a permanent resident of the porch shop. I’ll post a picture of a few below.

Another idea that I am curious to know if there may be a demand for in the porch shop is the “Blind Date With A Book” trend. I think it is such a fun idea. Essentially, you’d be buying a book blind only knowing the genre, but the fun part is getting all kinds of bookish extras to use while you’re enjoying your new book.

✨ 👀 Sneak Peek! 👀 ✨

One of the projects I’ve been working on are beeswax wraps which are much better for the environment because they replace single-use plastic wrap, last for up to a year or more, are easy to care for and break down completely in the compost when they wear out.

The wraps you’ll find in the porch shop come in a variety of super cute colours and patterns in packs of three. Sizes include twelve, nine and six inches. Seasonal and holiday styles are in the works and make great gifts.

👋🏻 Hey all, it has been a while. I have some exciting news to share. I have really been missing being a vendor at the Pugwash Farmer’s Market this summer but my schedule has just not allowed it, SO I decided to bring the market to me and set up a little market shop in the porch of my home.

✨How will it work?
- The porch will be open from 8am to 8pm five days a week.
- It will operate under the honour system and will accept cash and e-transfer.
- I will be stocking the little space with my clay jewelry and other hand made items, sweet treats and carefully curated gifts.
- I’ll post updates on Facebook and Instagram with what sweet treats are available in the shop each day.

I’m currently in making and creating mode so I’m hoping to open up shop in the next few weeks. Keep checking back for updates.

🐈 Foster was a big help with the mock up of the space today. He told me he approves. 👍🏻 I hope you’ll like it too.
