One of the most common questions I get is, "How far in advance should I book my wedding makeup artist?"

My recommendation is to book as soon as you've secured your wedding date. For peak wedding season (May–September), I recommend booking 12–15 months in advance, as dates fill up quickly. Planning an off-season wedding (October–April)? Booking 7–12 months in advance is typically ideal and gives you the best chance of securing your date.

The earlier you book, the more flexibility you'll have when scheduling your bridal trial and finalizing all the details leading up to your wedding day. Here are four simple ways to prepare your skin:
• Find an esthetician you trust and schedule regular facials.
• Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
• Manage stress whenever possible, as it can have a significant impact on your skin. • Develop a consistent skincare routine and wear sunscreen every day—even during the winter months.

Remember, healthy skin doesn't happen overnight. Starting your skincare routine early will help your skin look and feel its best when your wedding day arrives.
