Behind the Scenes of Small Business Life💕

​As I share my best friend’s clothing boutique page to help her get settled into her new space ahead of her October 1st opening, it got me thinking about what people don’t see behind the screens.

​A lot of you know about the plaza fire five months ago on April 29th. What many people don't realize is that everything is still happening behind the scenes. Insurance hasn't paid out yet...we haven't seen a dime, and everything we are doing to move forward with our futures is entirely on us.
We're still in ongoing talks with insurance, dealing with massive amounts of paperwork, and navigating a lot of unexpected hurdles and denials that nobody prepares you for.

​We try to keep the heavy stuff off Facebook because customers don't need to carry that weight, and we want our pages to be a positive space. But running a small business isn't always easy, and there is a lot of hidden stress that owners carry. 🌞

​That’s why I want to put a quick reminder out there for our community. When you see local businesses starting over or trying to rebuild, let's amp them up instead of trying to tear them down.

Life is too short for negativity. Nobody is anybody's competition 💕
We all succeed when we lift each other up!
