✨ WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR CUSTOM CORRECTIVE CHEMICAL PEEL ✨

Thinking about booking a custom corrective chemical peel with me? Here are a few things I want you to know before you come in👇🏼

✨ Prep your skin: For 72 hours before and after your treatment, avoid retinols/retinoids, exfoliating products, salicylic acid, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) and benzoyl peroxide.

🚫 Avoid waxing or laser hair removal on the treatment area for 72 hours before and after your peel.

🫧 Come with a clean face: Please arrive with clean skin and in a tank top or a top with an open neckline.

✨ Know what to expect: You may experience a mild stinging or tingling sensation while the peel is activating on your skin. Peeling may begin around 48 hours after treatment and can last for several days. The amount of peeling can vary from person to person.

🤍 Let your skin do its thing: Your skin may become dry or flaky as it heals. Resist the urge to exfoliate, pick or pull at peeling skin! Let your skin naturally shed while focusing on gentle hydration and protecting your skin.

💆🏼‍♀️ Give your skin a break: Avoid booking other facial treatments for at least one week after your chemical peel.

☀️ SPF is NON-NEGOTIABLE: Apply a broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher every day and avoid direct sun exposure for at least one week following your peel. Your skin is more vulnerable to sun exposure while it's healing!

🔥 Avoid heat & sweating: For the first 24 hours after your treatment, avoid vigorous exercise, swimming, hot showers and unnecessary heat exposure, including things like very hot hair dryers or prolonged heat while cooking.

🌶️ Avoid alcohol, recreational drugs and spicy foods for the first 24 hours following your treatment.

🤰 Pregnant or breastfeeding? Chemical peel treatments are not performed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
