Well, it's time I post about my upcoming medical leave! After Saturday, January 20th, I will be off for up to 7 weeks😩 My daughter will be finally going through with her surgery next Tuesday, January 23rd, at CHEO!

She has a duodenum duplication cyst (a duplication cyst located at the beginning of the small intestine) that she was born with that needs to be removed. She is completely A-symptomatic fortunately. They were hoping it would shrink and go away on its own, but it has grown, with each ultrasound! So it needs to be removed before it causes any issues. Due to the location of her cyst being extremely rare, and some other various factors, we were referred to CHEO for her surgery!

And then exactly a week later, on Tuesday, January 30th, I will be going for my knee surgery! Most of you who know me, knows that I have had bad knees since I was 12. I have dealt with random knee cap dislocations for the past 19 years. All I had to do was turn the wrong way or even just roll over in my sleep! I was given the chance for surgery as a child, but I was too scared and opted not to! I thought my knees would get better, but they never did and have, in fact, gotten worse! When I was younger, 99% of my dislocations, my knee cap would always go back into place on their own. But now, 99% of the time, they don't go back on their own, and I have to put them back into place myself! Stupid me, I could of had time off school rather than work🤦‍♀️

So to put my life story to an end, I will not be booking any appointments until roughly March, I will miss all my wonderful clients and will look forward to seeing everyone once I'm all recovered and back to work💜
