5 Things New Spray Tan Artist Should Know
1. NOT PROPERLY PREPPING YOUR CLIENT
Your client's tan starts before they ever walk through your door.
Send proper prep instructions BEFORE their appointment so they know exactly how to prepare their skin.
Don't assume they know. Set them up for success.
2.OVERSPRAYING
Overspraying can lead to:
• Running
• Uneven application
• Wasted product
• A colour that's not what you intended
Learn your solution + your gun + your technique.
3.CHEAPING OUT ON SOLUTION
Not all DHA is created the same.
The solution you use matters.
Do your research, use a reputable brand, and don't choose your solution solely because it's cheap.
Your client's skin isn't where you want to cut corners.
4.EDUCATING YOUR CLIENT
Don't spray them and send them on their way!
