Its been a hot minute since I’ve shown my face around here so lets get to it 🖤
First & foremost i am a lover of dogs. Y’all know that if you’ve met me. I will show you dog pics whether you like it or not. Sorry not sorry. Not to mention the shop dog that serenades all you lash lovers to sleep at your appointments. I love summer the most & being on and in the water. I grew up near the beach & refuse to go without one in walking distance now. My angsty teen playlist from 2004 sustains me in my daily life & im not ashamed of that, Im a millennial afterall🤘🏻
Ive been in my own studio for almost 9 years now & have loved (almost 😅) every moment of it. My first passion was hairstyling/barbering. I’ve been doing both in salon since 2011. I got a little stir crazy & ended up taking a lash course in 2013. that only made me love this business more. Lashes actually became my main offering for the last few years and i loved that the most. Getting to help create a reflection in the mirror that people actually love to look at will always be my main driving force. In 2015 i moved here to start over. It’s been challenging, exciting, overwhelming, exhausting and incredibly rewarding. With the help of my family & friends, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my little business & making it what it is today. Especially the ones who offered themselves up as guinea pigs to practice on while i worked my way through course after course and slowly got better. The OG’s who stuck with me through salons & studios to my first tiny basement studio i somehow pulled together while dreading the unknown.
My goal this year is to continue on with the same values & motives but a fresh perspective towards a few things i openly struggled with over the last few years. Burnout in our industry is too real & learning how to pace yourself is key. i learned the hard way by trying to do it all for everyone. This year? create my best work yet at a much more sustainable pace while setting healthy boundaries so we can all thrive. You ready besties? Full send🔥
