3rd in the world! I still can’t quite believe I’m writing those words! 🩷
I’m incredibly proud to have placed third in the Shaded Eyeliner category at the international .conference
Putting my work forward on an international stage was a little nerve-racking, so having it recognized in this way means more than I can express.
A heartfelt thank you to the 12 judges who generously gave their time and expertise, to my wonderful model for trusting me, my mentor and to the sponsors who helped make this competition possible.
A special mention to one of the competition sponsors, whose pigments I absolutely love and used for my submission! Purchased right here in Canada from
Feeling incredibly grateful, proud, and still a little stunned.
Here’s the story! ❤️

Five years! That’s how long this client waited to have her brows tattooed.
Her biggest fear? Those dreaded grey eyebrows she kept seeing on other people.
During the service, we discussed the differences between carbon-containing and mineral-based pigments, and why I choose to work with minerals for their softer, more natural-looking ageing characteristics.
Understanding how pigments behave in the skin gave her the confidence to continue!
These freshly tattooed brows will heal significantly softer and cooler, beautifully complementing her natural brow hair.
Fun fact: Fresh cosmetic tattoos often appear warmer than their healed colour. As the skin heals over the pigment, it acts like a filter, visually cooling the colour beneath.
Have fears you want to discuss? I love sharing knowledge and helping people decide if cosmetic tattooing is right for them.

Lip Blush | Blending a Darker Lip Border
This lovely client’s goal was to soften the darker pigmentation along her upper lip and create a more seamless blend with her natural lip colour.
While lip neutralization is a technique commonly used to adjust darker tones in melanated lips, this is a different situation. Her darker lip border is consistent with hyperpigmentation from factors such as sun exposure or smoking, which requires a different approach.
Our goal is to achieve the most natural-looking result possible. We’ve planned for two sessions, working in light layers and using a thoughtful approach to gradually soften the darker border and create a beautiful, seamless blend.
These photos show her lips before and immediately after her first session.
We already have some ideas for how we’ll refine the colour at her touch-up, keeping everything soft, balanced and natural.
Stay tuned for the evolution of these lips when she returns in a few months!
This is 💯 accurate

When a mature client asks for hairstrokes in her brow tattoo, I’m happy to consider it — but whether I actually recommend hairstrokes has very little to do with aesthetics.
It comes down to the limitations of pigment, needles, and delicate skin.
Before deciding, I go through my checklist: How thick and resilient is the skin? Is it well hydrated? What is the natural hair density? What are the client’s expectations? Are there health or healing factors that could affect the result?
Then I decide whether that skin is a good candidate for strokes.
Hairstrokes are a bit of a diva. They need the right environment to heal with clear definition while still looking delicate and natural.
This beauty was a good candidate, and I think it’s safe to say we were both pretty pleased with how her brows turned out.
Nano strokes and shading.
