Established in Vancouver in 1972, Sukis has spent more than five decades building a reputation for precision cutting, innovation and advanced stylist education. The Sukis Academy, established in 1978, has trained thousands of hairdressers, while founder Suki Takagi’s work earned international recognition and multiple lifetime achievement honours.

We’re proud to have members of the Natural Evolution team continuing their education with Sukis, focusing this fall on advanced cutting techniques for bobs, lobs and pixies of every shape

~ After three decades behind the chair, studying my craft and learning the many layers of the hair business, I can honestly say that sharing what I’ve learned with young, aspiring stylists has become one of the most rewarding parts of my career. It feels like a beautiful full-circle moment — passing along the techniques, the how and the why, but also the importance of communication & consultation

There is something incredibly special about watching someone take those lessons, make them their own and then absolutely soar. Seeing greatness in someone before they can see it in themselves, and nurturing that potential until it begins to flourish, is a labour of love — and one that is worth every step.

Today we celebrate Nicole’s two-year anniversary at Natural Evolution and her success behind the chair. Watching her grow into the stylist she is becoming has been such a joy, and we all couldn’t be more proud of her success and very busy schedule which speaks volumes of her work
