This new client drove over an hour to see me & wanted to stop bleaching her own hair with the infamous Sally’s bleach & developper.

While this was certainly not even close to the worst I’ve seen from at home colouring jobs, she wanted a more blending, but bright look. Not as bright in your face blonde, she wanted some warmth, but still be a pretty blonde.

CUTTING VS ACTUALLY BLENDING hair extensions.

The first photo shows why cutting extensions to one length isn’t the same as blending them with an actual hairstylist.

Your natural hair has its own layers, density, and weight line. If those aren’t connected to the extensions, you’ll see a shelf where your hair ends—even when the bottom looks perfectly even.

My beautiful guest has always liked to colour her own hair, and has been growing out her very broken side for a bit now. For us to be able to blend one side shorter vs one side longer with only 2 rows and a proper colour application, AND she can wear it straight without it showing? That comes with skill, experience and a lot of knowledge on proper placement.
