Plucking can actually make hormonal hair growth (PMOS, PCOS, peri-menopause, menopause) worse over time.

Let's talk about a common hair removal mistake: tweezing (waxing, etc). Did you know that plucking (or waxing, threading, sugaring) those stray hairs might be doing more harm than good, especially if you're dealing with hormonal hair growth? 😬

When you pluck, you're not just removing the hair but also stimulating the hair follicle, making it stronger and more resistant. If you’re plucking the same hairs over and over, you’re actually strengthening the follicle. This can result in thicker, coarser regrowth in the long run. Yikes, right?

Unlike tweezing (or waxing, sugaring and threading – or anything that rips the hair out), electrolysis targets the hair follicle directly, which makes it a permanent solution to unwanted hair.
