Sunday’s sound bath at the beautiful Sparta Lavender Farm 💜✨

Such a charming and peaceful venue. Even though the rain came, we were cozy and sheltered on the covered porch—still surrounded by the beautiful sounds and scents of nature. 🌿🌧️

A beautiful afternoon to slow down, breathe, listen, and reconnect. 💫

Thank you to everyone who shared the space with me. 💜

Last night’s sound bath at Little Brown Farm was such a beautiful evening. ✨

We were supposed to be outside, but the weather brought us into the shop—and honestly, it was pretty magical. The space is so cozy, beautiful, and smells amazing. 🌿

It was a lovely mix of new faces, familiar faces, and friends, and I loved connecting with everyone.

The energies have felt wild lately with Lionsgate, the solar eclipse, the new moon, and everything else going on. I know many of us have been feeling exhausted and emotional—including me.

So it felt especially important to simply pause, rest, and be nourished by sound and community. To reset, release, and leave feeling just a little lighter. 💙

Thank you to everyone who came and shared the evening with me, and of course, a huge thank you to Little Brown Farm for hosting and supporting my sound baths. 🌿✨

I’m so grateful for this morning’s sound bath at the beautiful Sparta lavender farm! This morning I thought of a phrase I kept hearing this past week in Kansas City while working with Charles Bruffy… When working with the choir—our sound and diction, Charles would often say “listen louder”. Today as I was facilitating my Soundbath out on the farm… and as I was starting to wind down the soundscape and let the layers of sound bowls, chimes and my voice float off… I kept thinking “listen louder”…noticing the sounds of the leaves and birds around me being more prominent. People are always in awe at the way nature becomes such a big part of the sound bath and they often comment that the nature around us gets louder during the session but I think it’s because we all finally take that moment to pause and tune in and listen louder. ❤️ 

After a full week, I’m grateful to have slowed down, tuned in, and listened louder 💜

Wow, what a week! I’m so grateful to have been able to sing with the chorus of the Kansas City Conducting Institute, and the Kansas City Chorale. What an enriching and inspiring week of singing! To sing with professional musicians at such a high caliber really is something— an opportunity to learn, to grow as a musician, and be inspired to keep expanding! Thank you bruffycharles for reminding us of all the POSSIBILITIES, to “ listen louder “ and to bring our awareness to the MAGIC✨of the music 🎶

The days were long, and my voice and body are tired, but my heart is full ❤️
