How to achieve a flawless result? ✨
Follow these 4 essential rules:
⚡️ Check the free edge along the nail axis.
Make sure both sides are even and perfectly aligned.
⚡️ No downward or upward slopes.
The free edge and sidewalls should be straight, and the parallels must remain truly parallel.
⚡️ Build the arch according to the nail length and the type of correction.
The structure should remain balanced through the center and the stress points.
⚡️ Choose the correct free-edge thickness based on the nail length.
Not too thick, not too thin — just enough to maintain strength and a clean structure.
Perfect structure is all about balance, alignment & precision.

Why do some nails look longer than others, even though you filed them to the same length? 🤔
The secret isn’t always in the millimeters. More often, it’s all about proportions.
Making every nail exactly the same length doesn’t always create the most balanced look. Why? Because every nail plate has a different width.
✨ A simple rule to remember:
• Keep narrower nails slightly shorter.
• Leave wider nails slightly longer.
This creates a more harmonious shape and makes the hands look more elegant.
One more important tip 👇
Don’t compare the length before the manicure. First, push back the cuticle, fully expose the nail plate, and only then evaluate the length and start filing.
That’s one of the reasons experienced nail technicians create sets that look perfectly even—even when the actual lengths differ by a millimeter or two.
💬 When filing, do you still focus only on the free edge, or do you use the proportion rule?

🌽 Corn or 🌲 Christmas Tree — Which one do you choose?
Every nail technician should know that removing product is just as important as applying it. The right carbide bit helps protect the natural nail, improves efficiency, and creates a better foundation for your next set.
🌽 Corn Bit
• Rounded tip for added safety.
• Ideal for fast, controlled bulk product removal.
• A great choice for beginners and general removal.
🌲 Christmas Tree Bit
• Tapered shape with a pointed tip for precision.
• Perfect for working around the cuticle area, sidewalls, and underneath the free edge.
• Gives experienced technicians more control in detailed areas.
✨ Neither bit is “better”—they simply serve different purposes. Knowing when to use each one is what makes a professional.

Understanding the difference between the Apex and the Stress Zone is one of the most important parts of nail structure.
The Stress Zone is the area of the nail that receives the most pressure during daily activities. The Apex, however, is placed slightly above that area and acts as a reinforcement point.
When we build the Apex correctly and place enough product in that area, it doesn’t just support the nail today. As the natural nail grows, the Apex gradually moves forward and eventually reaches the Stress Zone, providing strength exactly where the nail needs it most.
This is why proper Apex placement helps reduce breakage, improve durability, and maintain a balanced structure for weeks.
A strong nail is not about using more product everywhere—it’s about placing the right amount of product in the right place.

Many nail techs use manicure bits… but very few truly understand them.
In Russian manicure, every bit has a specific role:
lifting the cuticle, cleaning the pocket, polishing the skin, and preparing the nail plate for perfect retention.
When you learn how to use them correctly, everything changes:
cleaner cuticles, safer technique, and longer-lasting results.
This is exactly what I teach in my Russian Manicure Training.
