The Power of IPL

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is an effective treatment for targeting unwanted pigmentation and sun damage. With a series of treatments, we can gradually break down excess pigment, brighten the skin, and help restore confidence.

This client achieved a significant reduction in hyperpigmentation in the brow area after just 4 treatments! Depending on the area being treated, the size of the pigmented spot, and how long it has been present, it can take anywhere from 3–6 treatments to significantly lighten or completely remove the discoloration.

RETINOL 101

Retinol is a vitamin A derivative that helps support collagen production, smoother texture, more even skin tone, and clearer-looking pores. It’s one of my favourite long-term skincare ingredients for healthy, aging skin.

But stronger ≠ better!

•Low strength — great for beginners or sensitive skin
•Moderate strength — for those who have built up tolerance
•Higher strength — more intensive, but also more likely to cause dryness or irritation

The key is starting low + going slow. Your skin needs time to adjust!

And remember: SPF every morning is non-negotiable when using retinoids.
