I am not trashing anyone, or naming names, everyone is entitled to an off day however, if a client shows you a picture and asks for a specific color and you don't quite pull it off it is your job to fix it. It is extremely important to listen to your clients and have open communication while you're doing their hair. When your client messages you the next day to let you know that they are not satisfied and explain why politely, it is not your job to blame the styling techniques and lack product on a bad haircut, it is your job to apologize and do everything you can to make your client happy. This young man left a salon yesterday with this mushroom looking bowl cut that is extremely uneven and a way darker red that he wanted.
I was called in the next day to fix it up, we will work on the color next time for today we just cleaned up his haircut very happy young man and Mom!
First two pictures are what I walked into... last picture is how we decided to fix it up.
