🌿 Let’s talk about PERIMENOPAUSE.

I’ve been hearing from so many women struggling with poor sleep, low energy, mood changes, stubborn weight gain, brain fog, bloating, anxiety and simply feeling ā€œnot like myself.ā€

And here’s the thing… ✨ you don’t necessarily have to just accept feeling this way.

There are so many ways we can support our bodies through this transition—from nutrition, strength training, sleep and stress management to targeted supplementation and knowing what questions to ask your healthcare provider. šŸŒ±šŸ’ŖšŸ§

I’m a Menopause Coach with 25+ years of experience supporting women through all stages of life as a holistic nutritionist, fitness professional, nutrition coach and life coach. šŸ¤

I’m thinking about bringing more real, practical perimenopause conversations back to Rooted & Radiant.

šŸ’¬ What do YOU want to know?

What are you experiencing? What do you wish someone had explained to you?

Let’s talk about it. 🌿

There was a little season where I stepped away… and honestly, I needed it. 🌿✨

I’ve been busy with clients, my girls, family time, taking care of myself, and simply trying to soak up this beautiful summer we’ve been given. ā˜€ļø

And somewhere along the way, I’ve learned that taking care of yourself doesn’t always look like eating perfectly, working out, staying productive or having it all together.

Sometimes it looks like dinner out.
Sometimes it looks like laughing with your girls.
Sometimes it looks like a little glass of wine and saying, ā€œlet’s sip to that.ā€ šŸ·šŸ„‚āœØ

For so long, I think people have looked at me as someone who lives this very clean, healthy, disciplined life — and I absolutely still believe in nourishing our bodies and taking good care of ourselves.

But life has taught me that wellness is also joy.

After loss, grief, change and all the things life has thrown my way over the last few years, I’ve learned not to rush past the beautiful moments just because they don't fit perfectly into the plan.

Getting older has taught me that life isn't about being perfect.

It's about being present.
It's about appreciating the little things.

It's about allowing yourself to enjoy the life you're still here to live. ā¤ļø

So here's your little reminder from me:

Take the night off.
Order the dessert.
Have the glass of wine.
Sit a little longer.
Laugh a little louder.
Enjoy your people.
Nurture yourself in whatever way your soul needs.

Because grief changes you.
Life changes you.

Getting older changes you.
But change doesn't have to mean losing your light.
Sometimes it means discovering a deeper kind of radiance. ✨🌿

Cheers to that. šŸ·

🌿 Rooted & Radiant |
August Reflection

It’s August 1st, and somehow summer is already slipping through our fingers.

There’s something about this point in the season. The light is still warm, the days are still long but, you can feel the quiet shift beginning.

A soft reminder:

You don’t need to rush through it. You don’t need to ā€œmake the mostā€ in a pressured way. But you can choose to be present for it.

✨ A few simple ways to feel more rooted & radiant this month:

Step outside in the morning before the day takes over

Let one evening be slow and unscheduled

Eat something fresh, colourful, and nourishing

Put your phone down and actually notice where you are

Breathe deeply (more often than you think you need to)

This time of year is an invitation to come back to yourself— to your body, your rhythm, your energy.

And if you’ve been feeling a little off, depleted, or disconnected… you don’t have to figure it out alone.

🌿 I still have space to take on a new client this season,
and I’d love to support you in feeling more balanced, grounded, and well.

If this resonates, you’re always welcome to reach out šŸ¤

Sometimes healing looks deep… and sometimes it looks like waking up with a full lion’s mane and wondering who gave my hair permission to enter the room before I did. šŸ˜‚šŸ¦šŸ‘‘

Apparently Leo season arrived and my hair got the memo before I did. ā™Œļø

But in all seriousness… if you’ve started noticing changes like thinning hair, shedding, or your hair not feeling as full as it once did, there are many ways we can support healthy hair from the inside out. ✨

Nutrition, hormones, stress, lifestyle, and the right tools can all play a role—and yes, I have a few things tucked under my Rooted & Radiant tool belt. šŸ˜‰šŸŒæ

Because wellness isn’t about being perfect. It’s about embracing every season of yourself—the serious, the silly, the messy, and the magical. ✨

Stay rooted.
Stay radiant.
Stay wild. 🦁✨

DISCLAIMER: if you’re following my programs and you wake up with this much hair… well… that’s between you and your mirror. I’m not responsible. šŸ’€šŸ˜‚

I’m still a summer hopeless romantic… ā˜€ļøšŸ¤

Since I was a little girl, I’ve always romanticized life, especially in the warmth of July nights, where everything feels a little softer, a little slower, a little more alive.

And years later… those summer nights became some of the most meaningful chapters of my life.

With Mike… šŸ¤

Endless nights on the lake.
Fireflies dancing in the dark.
Late-night fires, shooting stars, chasing comets…
moments that felt like they would never end.

And even though they didn’t last forever…
they live in me forever.

Grief is not linear. It doesn’t follow a timeline or ask for permission.

Sometimes it arrives quietly… in a song, a scent, a warm breeze on your skin.

And sometimes it brings everything back with it. But what I’ve come to understand is this…

Healing isn’t about forgetting. It’s about being able to return to those memories and feel warmth instead of only pain.

And for the first time… that’s where I am.

I still miss him.
I always will.
But now… I can hold those memories with gratitude instead of just heartbreak.
And that feels like healing. šŸ¤

I’ve walked through grief in more ways than one…
and I know how heavy, isolating, and all-consuming it can feel.

And now… I hold space for others walking that same path — supporting them in gently coming back to themselves, their bodies, and a place where healing can begin to feel possible again.

You don’t have to carry it all alone. šŸ¤

07/14/2026

I shared this on my personal page yesterday… but I felt this was the most aligned space for it to truly live. šŸ¤

Because if this resonates with you in any way, if you’ve experienced grief in its many forms… the loss of relationships, the loss of parts of yourself, the quiet unraveling that no one really sees…

I just want to say… I am so deeply sorry. šŸ¤

Grief doesn’t just live in our hearts. It settles into the body. It changes us. It asks to be witnessed, felt, and supported.

And so many people are walking through it… silently.

This is a big part of why Rooted & Radiant exists. 🌿

To create a space where you don’t have to hold it all alone.

Where your body is supported as it processes what your heart has carried.

Where you can begin to gently come back home to yourself, at your own pace.

If you’re in a season like this… please know you are not broken.

You are responding to something that mattered. šŸ¤

And you don’t have to navigate it on your own. šŸ¤

My personal share ā¬‡ļø

The friendships that survived my grief… are the ones that didn’t require me to perform being okay. šŸ¤

There was a time I had nothing left to give. No energy. No light. No version of me anyone recognized.

I was carrying layers of grief… loss, betrayal, legal battles, health struggles,
all while trying to hold life together on my own. At one point, the darkness and the pain was so heavy, even my own immune system turned on me.

Because what I’ve come to understand…is that when grief goes unspoken, when trauma is left unresolved,
when pain feels too heavy to hold… we don’t just carry it emotionally, we carry it in our bodies.

And when there’s nowhere safe for it to go… we push it down. We tuck it away. We try to keep going.

But the body keeps track.
And sometimes… the very system designed to protect us begins searching for what’s been buried.

Turning inward. Trying to find… release.

And in that space… I learned something I will never unlearn. Not everyone can sit with you in your darkness.

Not everyone can love you when you have nothing to offer in return.

Some walked away.
Some took it personally.
Some simply couldn’t understand.

What did I learn from this?
That my softness is not weakness… that my body speaks when my heart is carrying too much… and that real love doesn’t disappear when life gets heavy. šŸ¤

And while the losses cut deeply… it also revealed something sacred.

✨ The ones who stayed.
✨ The ones who didn’t need me to be ā€œbetter.ā€
✨ The ones who held space without expectation.

The ones who loved me… as I was. That kind of love is rare. That kind of love is real.
And that kind of love… I will carry with me always. šŸ¤

And I will never forget. My circle is small now… but it is real, it is safe, and it is built on love that doesn’t disappear when life gets heavy. That is everything. šŸ™šŸ»

✨ Rise and shine… it’s a good day to be a good day. šŸŒæā˜€ļø

Morning light filtering in, birds singing their songs, dew resting on the grass, and the frogs reminding me that life is always moving, always waking, always beginning again. šŸøšŸ’§

Even in the quiet… there is so much life.

This is the kind of space that brings me back to my roots… and it’s also what I love helping others rediscover — so they can feel grounded again and truly shine in their own way. šŸ’›

Get outside, and get your feet in the grass. Starting the day rooted, present, and grateful. šŸŒæšŸ™šŸ»

Little me dreamed of this… and now I’m living it šŸŒ§ļøāœØ

Since I was a little girl, I dreamed of having a quiet, covered space like this… somewhere I could just sit and listen to the rain on a warm summer day. Life took me all over, through so many chapters, losses, and lessons… and somehow, I’ve found my way back home. Now I sit here under the pergola, surrounded by nature, listening to the rain fall… and it feels like a piece of me has finally exhaled.

This moment is more than peaceful… it’s healing. It’s full circle. It’s everything I didn’t even realize I still needed. šŸ¤šŸŒ§ļøāœØ

May you find your own pergola moment… that quiet place where your soul exhales and you realize you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

🌿✨ Healing is finding your way home to yourself.

07/05/2026

There’s a quiet kind of glow that happens when you bring your energy back home to yourself ✨

No more over-explaining. No more scattered energy.
No more trying to be understood by people who already chose not to. Just peace… clarity… and a softness that comes from choosing you again and again šŸ¤šŸŒæ This is what it looks like when your power isn’t everywhere else anymore… it’s within šŸ’«
