To our wonderful patients,
We wanted to share that our clinic will be temporarily closing as we take some time for maternity leave and welcome a new addition to our family.
Our last day of appointments will be 29th September 2026, and weāre planning to reopen around spring of 2027.
If you need care before we close, we encourage you to book ahead. During our time away, we recommend connecting with other local providers to ensure your care continues.
Weāre so grateful for your support and canāt wait to return refreshed and continue caring for you. š¤
With gratitude,

Things I see daily as a podiatrist...
Warning some of those are shocking!

š āSo if your feet get tired easily, and your back aches by the end of the day⦠this might be why.ā
When your feet are flat, they tend to overpronate; meaning they roll inward.
That might not sound like a big deal, but hereās what happens:
ā”ļø Your ankles collapse inward
ā”ļø Your knees rotate inward
ā”ļø Your hips shift out of alignment
ā”ļø And your lower back has to compensate
Over time, this creates strain on your back muscles and joints.

Think you have a corn??
You might be treating the wrong thing
And this is where people go wrong...
They treat them the same and nothing improves
If it's painful and not going away, it's time to stop guessing.
Book your appointment and get it checked properly

Most people think heel pain = plantar fasciitisā¦
So they stretch, roll a ball, or try random insoles.
But hereās the problem š
š Youāre not fixing the cause
If your foot is rolling in, your calves are tight, or your shoes arenāt supportiveā¦every step is re-injuring that same spot. So it feels better for a bit, then the pain comes right back.
If your heel pain isnāt improving itās not random, youāre just not treating the right thing.

Blisters are caused by repetitive friction, pressure, and moisture leading to separation within the skinš„. Prevention and early management are key to reducing discomfort, infection risk, and promoting healing.
New footwear increases friction and blister risk. Break shoes in gradually and treat early, especially in patients with diabetes to help prevent infection and support healing.
If you have diabetes and a blister, it's important to book in to see a podiatrist! š£
