Important notice regarding Sackville Drive resurfacing that will begin Sunday at 7pm.

The contractor is currently scheduled to begin milling operations Sunday, October 4, with work anticipated to continue through October 7–8. Operations are planned to take place overnight, approximately 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. All construction activities are weather dependent, and the schedule may be adjusted based on site conditions and operational requirements.

This will be a large-scale milling operation involving multiple pieces of heavy equipment and a number of trucks moving through the work area.

Sackville Drive will remain open to traffic; however, motorists should anticipate significant delays while work is underway. Traffic control will be in place to safely manage vehicles through the active construction zone. As operations progress, some traffic signals may be temporarily taken out of service, with intersections managed through stop-and-go flagging in accordance with traffic control requirements.

Due to the scale of the operation and the traffic control measures required, this phase of work is expected to have a greater impact on traffic than previous activities completed under this project to date. The extent and duration of delays will vary depending on traffic volumes, construction progress, and field conditions.

Motorists travelling through the area during the overnight work are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time, and follow the direction of traffic control personnel. Access to businesses and properties will be maintained, although temporary delays may occur as construction equipment moves through the work area.
