What a beautiful way to end an amazing learning journey! From crochet and box braids to knotless braid discussions, our final class was filled with hands-on practice, teamwork, and lots of fun.

Ending with a quiz made it even more special. So proud of every participant! 💛 It’s officially a wrap! 🌸

Day 3 at YLMP Summer Program ✨

Today was all about turning knowledge into skill! 💛

Our young stylists had their first hands-on cornrow braiding session using mannequins, and I couldn’t have been more proud. Watching them carefully follow instructions and confidently create their own cornrows reminded me that every expert starts with a single braid.

Seeing their excitement, focus, and progress was the highlight of my day. I encouraged them to keep practicing at home because consistency is what transforms beginners into professionals.

Teaching isn’t just about passing on a skill—it’s about building confidence, inspiring creativity, and showing young people what’s possible.

One braid at a time. One future stylist at a time. 💫
