PRF UNDER-EYES | WHAT IS IT & WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE IT?
PRF stands for Platelet-Rich Fibrin. It’s made from a small amount of your own blood, which is processed to concentrate platelets, white blood cells and a fibrin matrix.
Unlike a traditional filler, PRF doesn’t add a gel or synthetic product under the skin. Instead, it uses your body’s own regenerative factors to support tissue repair and collagen production over time.
PRF vs PRP
PRF is often considered the next generation of PRP. The preparation creates a fibrin matrix that helps hold the platelets and growth factors in place, allowing for a slower release compared with PRP.
Both can be used for skin rejuvenation, but current research suggests PRF may be particularly promising for fine lines, crepey skin and overall under-eye skin quality, while PRP has stronger evidence for certain types of pigmentation.
PRF vs FILLER
Filler is designed to add volume and can provide a more immediate correction of true volume loss.
PRF is different. It’s a regenerative treatment that aims to improve the quality of the skin itself, making it a great option for someone who wants a more natural, gradual improvement in things like:
• Crepey under-eye skin
• Fine lines
• Mild hollowness
• Thin, fragile-looking skin
• Tired-looking eyes
• Some types of under-eye darkness
• Loss of elasticity
It’s important to know that PRF isn’t a replacement for filler in every situation. Significant hollowness, prominent fat pads or structural concerns may be better addressed with other treatments. The right option depends on why your under-eyes look the way they do.
The goal with PRF?
Not to change your face, but to gradually improve the quality, texture and appearance of your skin using your own biology.
Results are subtle and develop gradually rather than appearing overnight.

Sun spots, age spots, skin tags, cherry angiomas, and other benign skin imperfections don’t have to be permanent.
The Freezpen is a precise cryotherapy treatment designed to safely target unwanted lesions with minimal downtime. Many pigmented lesions can be treated in a single session, while raised lesions and some moles may require 1–3 treatments depending on their size and depth.
Immediately after treatment, the area will appear pink as your skin begins the natural healing process. Over time, the skin gradually returns to its normal colour, revealing a smoother, clearer complexion.
If you’ve been thinking about treating those spots you’ve been covering up, now is the perfect time.
