Every so often I am inspired by something I see on TV or in a movie or on a magazine, and like I said before the aesthetic of Ransom Canyon just really got me, I loved it!
When we lived out west my husband produced rodeo and we cannot get rid of our western clothes, even though they will likely never be worn again except maybe in a makeup video here and there!
Brows first and it was the shade OAK with some hair gel 😂
To start I prepped my skin with the illuminator ANGEL and then used the shade ATHENS to pretty much cover my whole face, and I probably should’ve gone down to CANDLELIT, but I want a little bit more coverage.
Cheek shades were RENAISSANCE and SADIE and also on the lips.
SEDONA on the eyes to finish it up.

Do I recommend watching the show? Probably not. Did I absolutely binge it in a couple of weeks? I sure did.
I will always be drawn to that type of aesthetic from the paint colours in the house in the bar to the outfits to the hair and the makeup. I just love it all.
This Pallet has been on repeat all last week and I’m bringing it into fall

If you’re trying to conceal darker spots, redness, or other distractions on your face, reaching for a lighter or brighter foundation shade can actually make them stand out more.
The trick? Go slightly darker, not lighter.
A deeper shade can help neutralize the contrast between the distraction and the surrounding skin, so everything looks more even and seamless.
This is one of those makeup rules that feels completely backwards until you see it work.
And if you’re over 40 and wondering why your foundation suddenly isn’t doing what it used to… this could be one of the reasons.
Save this one. It’s a game changer.
As Miss MandiK |Your Grey Haired SIS🦄|over40makeup coined “you will have to pry this palette out of my cold dead hands”
Ultimately it checks the most boxes but it’s not for everyone and I show Easy, Everyday Makeup and will continue ❤️
Any brands you want to see reviewed? Let me know!!
Self-tanning drops and self-tanner can make sun spots look darker, while a sheer layer of cream bronzer helps blur and even out the look of the skin BEFORE foundation.
The result? You need less foundation, and your makeup looks more like skin instead of sitting on top of it.
