On the Autumn Equinox, we welcome back The Floral Face Oil, Chai Spiced Whip and The Spiced Set.

The return of The Floral Face Oil has been long awaited and what better day to welcome her back then on the day we bid summer fairwell and say hello to autumn.

The Floral Face Oil has been steeping since mid-summer. Fireweed, Yarrow, Calendula, and Alberta Wildrose Petals all wildcrafted or homegrown by us, sisters Amy and Kim.

Products with all botanicals sourced from our own hands or lands are very close to our hearts.

What a beautiful opportunity we have to create so much beauty and nourishment from bio-regional botanicals.

Products like this are the heart of 78 Acre Woods.

Created by us from the land, for the people who inhabit it.

Then there is The Chai Spiced.

A richly scented tallow whip slow infused with cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and vanilla beans. If you LOVE warm, cozy scents this is the whip for you!

Which are you most excited to have return?

Our products are anhydrous, meaning they do not contain water.

Adding water in the rendering phase always felt wrong to us for this reason.

And after doing a little more research we confirmed the benefits didn't outweigh the risks.

We still hand sort and chop all our suet.

Anything that doesn't meet our standards doesn't get used.

And, after doing this for 4 years we have really honed in this process.

We render low and slow, but do not "purify."
