You’re on your feet for hours, constantly talking, answering questions, helping people, staying energized, dealing with noise and a million things happening at once — all while trying to keep that smile on your face!
I truly love what I do, but retail definitely takes a lot out of you. ❤️

There’s something I love about event days — getting into the makeup, playing with beautiful products, and sharing that excitement with clients. It’s always a busy day, but definitely never boring! 💄

Today was definitely a get-it-all-done kind of day. Sometimes I feel like I need an appointment just to recover from all my appointments! 😆
But hey… when everything is checked off the list, it feels pretty good.

There’s something so special about having repeat makeup clients who trust you enough to give you carte blanche! 💄✨
When a client sits in your chair and says, “I trust you—do whatever you think,” it’s such a compliment. It gives me the freedom to be creative, play with the look, and really do what I feel will suit them best.
After getting to know a client over time, you know what they love, what makes them feel beautiful, and when you can push them just a little outside their comfort zone. ❤️
That kind of trust is one of my favourite parts of being a makeup artist!
